Joseph Morelle Jr.

Executive Director

Prior to joining UNiCON in April 2022, Joe Morelle Jr. spent 13 years with Rochester based Wilmorite and 8 years in the Monroe County Legislature representing Irondequoit, NY.

As Executive Director, Joe prioritizes economic and workforce development in the Finger Lakes Region by working with public and private partners to advocate for resources to grow our community.

Joe currently resides in his hometown of Irondequoit with his wife Nicole, stepdaughter Harper, and sons Gabriel and Lincoln. Joe has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from State University of New York at Geneseo.

Ashley Amidon

Communications Director

As Communications Director, Ashley manages all media outreach for the organization, including press releases, media advisories, and event logistics. She coordinates with legislators, the press, and community leaders to develop UNiCON’s programming.

Ashley has been working with UNiCON since October 2024 and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Roberts Wesleyan University.
